PARENTS DO MATTER!When parenting is at its best, children thrive. |
PARENTING SKILLS ARE LEARNEDJust as one develops skills on a job or studies for a new career, we must also learn and develop parenting skills that will help address the challenges parents and youth face in today’s society. |
Parenting 4 Non-Violence uses Active Parenting Now/Teen curriculums to teach parents how to raise responsible, cooperative children who are prepared to meet the challenges of the teen years. Programs were written by Active Parenting Publishers founder and president Michael H. Popkin, Ph.D. The programs provide parents with skills that will help them develop cooperation, responsibility and self-esteem in their children. They’ll also learn positive, non-violent discipline techniques so they can avoid power struggles.
